My Story Into Creativity and Design

Purpose and Mission

The purpose of the Biosphere Dome Wreath is to increase the aesthetic value of the wreath. This allows the opportunity to enhance the creativity and design choices for wreath makers and buyers within the wreath design and wreath making industry.

This will increase the consumption of creative ornaments and design materials that may be used to decorate the multi-dimensional wreath, beyond the frequent usage of ribbons and bows.

Most importantly, this wreath making and design revolution will also lead to more creativity, empowering people to create wreaths with great flair and artistry.  Wreath design and wreath making are predicated on creativity.

It is, therefore, my dream to always oil that engine of creativity in my creation of designs for both wreath designers and wreath makers.

About Dorothy Carey

I enjoy manipulating wood, clay, wire, and other items and transforming them into beautiful, "different", and expressional pieces.

I have always been “different” and enjoy finding unique ways of displaying it. I began acting upon it back in junior high school, where my sister and I would strive to break away from social norms.

We would travel miles to surrounding cities just so we could purchase strange and unordinary shoes. We would flaunt them in school and admire the fact that there was no one else who had shoes like us.

This moment of my life created a zest to pursue this “different” lifestyle even more.

After high school, my sister followed her passion, and I began teaching art after completing college.

For many years, I have been able to develop young minds to think critically, analyze, manipulate materials, be creative, and turn their ideas into both 2D and 3D artwork.

I love being able to help them tap into their creativity and show them that thinking and being “different” is okay when creating art.

Made for Creative Wreath Makers and Designers

Creative people have a huge imagination. They are explorative and curious. They have the gift of translating really dense ideas into such universal languages.

The beauty is often understood and felt by so many. I had a desire to apply my imagination for shapes, decor, designs, and life perspectives to the traditional wreath-making process.

I wanted to create something new.

  • We want to expand the ideas of creative wreath makers
  • Challenge their curiosity and abilities to embrace new ideas
  • Expand a new framework in design and application
  • Introduce a new perspective and meaning to decor
